PLEDGE YOUR SUPPORT TODAY
We are counting on everyone in our BCCHS community to step up to make this special appeal a success. If you have not already, you will receive more information in the mail about the appeal and the needs it addresses, along with a request for your support. Your pledge will help offset the cost of the HVAC project and ensure that we can retire the loan quickly, saving the school in interest payments.
WAYS TO GIVE
Pledges
Pledges are financial commitments made in good faith. We ask that you consider making a pledge over a three-year period to maximize the total amount of your support. You may fulfill a commitment through monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual installments.
Cash/Check/Credit Card
Gifts of cash are most common and allow BCCHS to address its immediate needs. Donating cash is as simple as writing a check, authorizing a charge on your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) or arranging for automatic withdrawal from your bank account.
Securities
Appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual fund shares can immediately impact our special appeal and will also create an income tax deduction for you based on their current value. Since there is no capital gains tax when you make a charitable gift, you receive an additional tax benefit above the charitable gift donation.
Planned Gifts
Planned giving is the process of carefully selecting the best method and asset for making a charitable gift. Such a gift can enable you to take full advantage of tax law to accomplish your financial and charitable goals. Planned gifts can be made through bequests by will or living trust, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, charitable gift annuities, beneficiary benefits from life insurance, IRAs, pensions or financial accounts.
Corporate Matching Gifts
A matching gift program provided through your employer may allow you to increase the value of your gift. Many companies match charitable gifts made by their employees, retirees or board members. Check with your company’s Human Resources Department to see if your employer has a matching gift program and if the special appeal would qualify for a matching gift.
Supportive Prayer
The greatest gift you can give is your time spent in prayer for the special appeal. Please pray for the continued blessing of our school and our mission.
More than a debt reduction campaign, however, this effort is about providing a comfortable, safe learning environment for our current and future students. It is about advancing our shared mission to “assist parents in forming Disciples of Christ.” If your life has been impacted in any way by our school, please respond generously.
