BCPO

What is BCPO?

BCPO is the Bishop Carroll Parents’ Organization. It is divided into two committees: the BCPO Activities Committee and the BCPO Academics Committee. Each group selects a set of Executive Officers and Voting Members each summer to conduct business for the group.

Who is a Member?

All parents of the Bishop Carroll Catholic High School Community are members of the Bishop Carroll Parents’ Organization.

BCPO ACADEMICS

TRASH BAG SALES

This is our main student fundraiser. All profits are given back to the school to help fund things like new classrooms, lockers, technology, teacher gifts and class treasuries. These quality trash bags come from Envision, a not-for-profit agency based here in Wichita that offers jobs and rehab services for the blind and visually impaired. Order your bags from a BCCHS student, stop by the office or email [email protected].

FOOTBALL, BOYS SOCCER & BASKETBALL CONCESSIONS

Thanks to all the many parent volunteers, the concessions are a huge success. This is the perfect time to meet other parents and have fun!

BUZZ BOOKS

Every year we put together the phone directory for the BCCHS students. Every student receives one and we have extras for sale. This is the ultimate book for networking with other students and their parents.

PANCAKE FEED

We host the Annual Super Bowl Sunday all you can eat Pancake and Sausage Feed. Fellowship and good food makes this so successful. Volunteers love working this event!

BCPO ACTIVITIES

The Activities Committee has many activities to provide resources for Bishop Carroll athletics, listed below are many of those opportunities. These programs help support students year-round. Thank you for your participation!

The first annual soccer tournament was held in July of 2019.

CSAL CHRISTMAS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

We host a tournament for Catholic Schools Activities League teams over the Christmas break. We have 7th & 8th grade boys & girls divisions.

SPRING TRACK CONCESSIONS

BCPO Activities handles the Spring Concessions for the Parochial and BCCHS Track Season. Grilled burgers and brats, ice cold drinks, snow cones and sunshine make for a fun time in the Spring.

TAILGATE PARTIES

Fall & Winter Sports Kick-off Parties make everyone feel welcome! These events feed BCCHS athletes, alumni, parents and supporters. Get there early!

ALL-SPORTS PROGRAM

The All-Sports Program includes rosters, team previews and an extensive recap of last year’s honors. Sponsors will have their ads featured in the Fall, Winter, and Spring season programs.

BISHOP CARROLL GOLD CARDS

In the past, a very important project for BCPO was selling BCCHS Gold Cards.  All students compete for prizes by selling the Gold Card, which offers great discounts from local merchants including many from BCCHS.

CLOTHING SALES

Ever wonder where all of the Bishop Carroll hats, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts or stocking caps come from? The BCPO Activities Committee orders and sells BCCHS clothing, starting at Registration all the way through track season. These make great gifts that show school pride.

PICTURE BUTTONS

Athlete Picture Buttons allow parents, grandparents, friends and alumni to show pride in their son, daughter or grandchild. This group shoots button pictures for all the sports during the year. These buttons are great keepsakes.

LOCKER MATES

The sale of Locker Mates is a long-time tradition. Donated materials from Star Lumber, handcrafts several hundred Locker Mates each year and then makes them available for sale at registration.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

The BC Golf Tournament is a fun opportunity to support the Bishop Carroll Catholic Community. Get a team together, come out and play!

YARD SIGNS

Show your BCCHS spirit with a yard sign that displays your students name & sport.

TURF

Turf Committee meets to groom the turf field prior to home football and soccer games. They also assist the BCPO grounds crew in maintaining the stadium.
