Training

In order to participate or volunteer in any activities and events that involve minors, 18 year-olds must attend VIRTUS and submit to a background check. They must also read and acknowledge the Code of Ethical Standards and Policy for the Suspected Abuse of Children. All students that are 18 years old must complete Virtus in order to participate in any school activity, including overnight trips. All juniors and seniors (regardless of age) are highly recommended to complete the Virtus training for any service work or events that they may be participating in during their high school activities. Background checks will be conducted on all students that are working with peers or younger children even if they are not 18 years old.
