All School Masses
Masses involving all students are celebrated in the Activities Complex with students participating as liturgical readers, altar servers, and musicians as well as singers. Feasts and special events for All School Masses include:
- Freshman Class Mass (First Day of School)
- Pastor’s Day (September)
- Grandparents Day (October)
- Memorial Mass (November)
- Advent - Tuesdays during Advent
- Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass (Mid December)
- Catholic Schools Week (Late January)
- Ash Wednesday (Feb/March)
- Easter (April)
- Farewell Mass (May)
Students are to wear All-School Mass attire on these occasions (please refer to the Student Handbook for these guidelines.)
Everyone is welcome to attend All-School Masses.
Weekly Celebration of Holy Mass
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:15 a.m. in the chapel
Each designated Community has the opportunity to attend mass on Tuesdays during House time
Madonna Chapel
Our school’s chapel is named for the Blessed Virgin Mary, as well as the all-girls school which opened in 1966 and eventually combined with Bishop Carroll High School to create one co-ed school. After being located in several different places throughout the building, the chapel now sits in 100 Hall across from the Counseling Office. As part of tradition, students cross themselves when they pass the chapel door.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered during lunch periods on Mondays and Fridays. Special times for are also offered and noted in the daily bulletin.
Rosary
Prayed for BC students at 7:25 a.m. on Thursday mornings
Bite-Sized Truths
Informal faith discussion groups held during all lunch periods on Wednesdays in the library
