Student Ambassadors
What is a BC Ambassador?
A Bishop Carroll Ambassador is a student leader who represents the school by engaging prospective families, supporting new students, and serving as a resource on the Bishop Carroll experience. Ambassadors also assist the Advancement Office by welcoming and interacting with alumni, donors, and guests, while modeling the school’s values and mission.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
· Assist the Advancement Office carrying out the mission of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School
· Assist with school tours for prospective students and their families.
· Assist with school events hosted by the Advancement Office or BC functions.
· Assist with student stewardship renewal.
· Extend hospitality to students and guests at all-school Masses.
· Assist with mailing campaigns and other projects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
· Sophomore, junior, or senior enrolled at Bishop Carroll for the 2026-2027 school year .
· Minimum GPA requirement of 2.5.
· Reliable and committed to the mission of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School
· Enthusiastic and active participant in school activities.
· Self-starter who is an effective communicator and possesses people skills.
· Versatile team member who possesses initiative to get things done.
· Complete duties as assigned by the Advancement Office.
Ambassador candidates must apply by Friday, April 3 at 10:00 pm. All candidates must be in compliance with the Bishop Carroll Student Handbook and cannot have received a suspension during this current school year. **New this year: Applicants will submit a short "About Me" video. The video should be approximately 2-3 minutes and include information about yourself including but not limited to: Info about you and your family, what parish you belong to and how you are involved there, hobbies and extracurriculars you enjoy, ways you give back to the community, etc. The video is due by April 22nd and can be submitted by clicking the button above. Candidates will interview with the Advancement Team during the last week of April. Candidates will be selected on their merit based on their application, interview, and staff recommendations. Candidates will be notified the week of May 4th if selected as a 2026-2027 School Ambassador.
