Asst. Head Coach Paul Sanagorski
Paul has over 30 years of coaching experience, both at the collegiate and professional levels. Paul started and built the baseball program at Newman University, leading the Jets to a 4th place finish in the NAIA World Series. He accumulated a 766 – 291 record in 22 years at the helm. During that time Paul was selected Coach of the Year 8 times and in 2007 he was inducted into the Newman University Athletic Hall of Fame. Having served as a professional hitting coach for the Florida Marlins and Washington Nationals, Paul also has extensive experience at every level of the minor leagues, from rookie ball to triple A, and brings that wealth of knowledge to Bishop Carroll. Paul has a variety of experiences at clinics, camps and team instruction and has given over 2100 hours of individual lessons. Paul is a member of both the Kansas Baseball Hall of Fame and the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame.

Pitching Coach Brent Holman
Brent is in this 16th season with Bishop Carroll. A 1985 graduate of Wichita North, Brent went on to pitch at Butler County Community College (86'-87') and finished his playing career at the University of Northern Colorado earning a bachelor's Degree in Psychology (90'). Although, Brent will be the first to admit that he majored in baseball - which is a science all its own! Brent comes from a family full of ball players who, with the help of their father, became students of the game from a very early age in life. Brent's brother Brian was a 1st round draft pick out of Wichita North to the Montreal Expos in 1983. Taken 16th overall-3 spots ahead of Roger Clemens! Brian broke into the big leagues with the Expos in 88' and was traded (with Randy Johnson) to the Seattle Mariners in 1989. In 1990 Brian came one out away from pitching a perfect game against the Oakland A's. Brian's son, David was a RHP in the Colorado Rockies organization and spent last season with AAA Albuquerque. His brother Brad was a 35th-round pick of the Kansas City Royals in 1990 and eventually broke into the big leagues with the Mariners in 1993 where he and his brother Brian were teammates. Currently, Brad was a pitching coach in the Washington Nationals organization.

Professionally, Brent is an Operations Captain with the Wichita Fire Department in his 30th year of being a fireman. Brent can be seen in the hallways at Bishop Carroll from time to time as he is a substitute teacher on his days off from the station. Personally, Brent is married to Lisa (Reichenberger-BC 89'). The Holman's are members of St. Francis Parish and have 4 children - Seth, Samantha, Seger, and Shane

Seth, Segar, and Shane have all played for Dad at Bishop Carroll. Seth was on the mound in 2012 with Brent in the dugout when he recorded the last out of the 2012 5A State Championship game.

Tony Trujillo

4th Year at Bishop Carroll. A 2015 Bishop Carroll graduate, went on to play at Tabor College while studying Psychology and Biology. After graduating in 2019, my passion has remained with baseball and staying around the game. Currently, a catching coach and summer ball head coach for 316 Elite Academy and the vice president & assistant coach of the '22 Summer ball Showdown National Champions, The Wichita Dirtbag Baseball Club from the KCLB.

Craig Holbrook

Craig enters his 9th year on Coach Ebright's staff. He is a 1980 graduate of Wichita South High School and was a member of the last Wichita High School (not named Bishop Carroll) to win a state championship (1980). Craig went on to play at Dodge City Community College ('81-'82) and finished at Friends University ('83-'84) catching and playing 2nd base.

Professionally, Craig has been with Boeing/Spirit Aerosystems for 39 years. Personally, Craig is married to Julie and has two sons, Kyle ('09) and Travis ('11), daughter-in-law Sheree (Stephen) ('10) all BC alums, and grandson Tyler ('41).
