Dan Dester has accepted the position of Principal of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School for the 2024-25 school year. Mr. Dester is currently in his fourth year as principal at Trinity Jr/Sr Catholic High School in Hutchinson. Prior to that, Mr. Dester served as principal at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School and St Jude Catholic School. He has a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a Master’s degree in educational leadership from Wichita State University. Recently, Mr. Dester and the families of the Hutchinson community were featured in the Catholic Advance as they celebrated the groundbreaking of a new gym. In Mr. Dester’s tenure at Trinity Catholic, the spirituality and academics have seen dramatic increases. Mr. Dester and his family are active members of Magdalen Catholic Church.
