BCCHS Students Earn National Merit titles

On behalf of the Bishop Carroll Catholic High School community, we would like to congratulate National  Merit Semifinalist, Senior Camden Sissell.

This nationwide pool of semifinalists, which represents less than one percent of US high school seniors, includes the highest scoring entrants in each state.  These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for approximately 7250 National Merit Scholarships, worth nearly 28 million dollars, that will be offered next spring. The following student will continue his process hoping to become National Merit Finalist.

The Bishop Carroll Community would also like to congratulate and recognize Emma Ellsworth, Evan May, Brysen Pfingsten, and Lauren Vaughn for being named National Merit Commended Scholars.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.  Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2023 competition by taking the 2021 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
