Homework and Class Participation:   Assignments will occur daily and will be due the next class period, unless otherwise stated. Occasionally we may have in-class activities that will be graded based upon participation and accuracy. This part of your grade counts for 18 %.

***     NOTE     ***     LATE HOMEWORK WILL RECEIVE ZERO CREDIT!!!

* If you miss class with an excused absence you have one day for each day missed to get caught up with all of your work.
* If you miss class with an unexcused absence you will receive zero credit for all homework turned in that day, and any tests or quizzes taken on that day. You will be expected to find out what you missed that day and have the next day’s work ready to turn in or you will get a zero on that work as well. You will also not be given any time extensions on tests that occur after your absence.
* If you miss class on the day of an in-class activity you will not be able to make up those points.

Quizzes/Tests:             Quizzes may occur at any time over current material, but you should expect 1 to 3 quizzes prior to a unit test. Tests will occur at the end of each unit. Quizzes and tests make up 72 % of your grade. Missed tests and quizzes must be made up within 5 school days or a zero will be given.

* Anyone caught cheating will receive a “0” and A REFERRAL *

Semester Exam:          This cumulative exam will cover all material from the semester and is 10 percent of your semester grade.
