Coach Mo Rohleder
Coach Rohleder starts her 4th season at Newman University, after being at
the head of Bishop Carroll High School volleyball for 13 seasons,
earning a record of 389-58, 11 City League championships, including 7
straight, 4 state championships and 2 second place finishes. Her
high school programs have been named National Program of the Year, and
she has been named Coach of the Year two times. Coach Mo has coached
various club teams of all ages and has directed summer camps for the past 14
years. Her coaching experience has spanned over 25 years.
Before her coaching career, Coach Mo played volleyball and softball at
Newman, earning her spot as senior captain and top academic athlete. She
and her husband, Al, are from Wichita and have four sons.
Assistant Coach Aldona Carney
Aldona
Carney has helped Coach Rohleder co-direct the “Focus on the Basics” Volleyball
Camp for the past 14 years. Carney has coached at the junior high, high school,
a former JV-Bishop Carroll Coach, and club level. She was also a setter in high
school, college and women’s club teams. Carney is a certified physical
education teacher and has great teaching skills as well as knowledge of the
game. She and her husband, Pat, have 5 children.
