Coaching Experience
Coach Trail is at his 16th year at Bishop Carroll as an assistant coach. Previous to Carroll, he was an assistant coach who coached wide receivers at Princeton, Texas, for 2 years. Before Princeton, he was a student/graduate assistant coach at Fort Hays State University for 4 years—1 year as a defensive backs coach, and 3 years as a wide receivers coach.
Coach Trail graduated from Osborne High School in Osborne, KS in 1984. After graduation, he attended Hutchinson Community College and played football for 2 years before going on to Fort Hays State and playing there for 3 more years. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Science in 1990 from FHSU, and went on to receive a Master’s degree in Physical Education in 1992.
Coach Trail enjoys coaching at Carroll because of the community. He enjoys working with players, coaches, school staff, and parents that are willing to put in the time and effort to make themselves, as well as those around them, better people each and every day.
