National History Day Results! By: Kayla Truong Thursday, February 28th, Juniors in U.S. History Honors class traveled to Friends University in order to display their National History Day projects for the judges. Students were interviewed by the judges and presented their topic. Top three medaled in each catergory: Individual Exhibit, Group Exhibit, Individual Documentary, Group Documentary, Individual Website, Group Website, and Historical Paper. Congratulations to the following students who placed at the National History Day Competition yesterday at Friends University: Historical Paper: JohnPaul Hauge, 3rd, Elizabeth Goenner, 2nd, Richard Rogers, 1st Individual Performance: Emily Rohleder, 2nd, Jacob Vogel, 1st Group Documentary: Spencer Kaba and Ben Bogner, 3rd Renee Dick and Caitlin Chambers, 2nd Individual Exhibit: Jill Seiler, 3rd, Molly Demel, 2nd Group Exhibit: Vivian Hoang and Abby Belt, 3rd, Jeni Reichenberger and Katelyn Dugan, 2nd, Alex Dahlgren and Kate Oxler, 1st Individual Website: Kyle Morley, 3rd Landon Becker, 2nd, Amanda Goebel, 1st Group Website: Luke Clupny and Patrick Elliott, 2nd, Luke Ketter and Anna Sullentrop, 1st Additionally, Richard Rogers, Jacob Vogel, and Amanda Goebel were awarded $1,000.00 scholarships to Friends University. All of these students are now eligible to compete in the state competition in Topeka on April 20.
