About:

Art club is for everyone. It's a place to socialize and be creative. We like to "improve" something around the school each year. For example, one year the wall outside the football field was painted by the Art Club. We encourage students to create original art and enter their work in contests.

Activities:

  • Pinatas were recently made and donated to the Arc
  • Art Club members are currently working on making a glass mosaic to hang up on the 200 and 400 staircase. The mosaic will say "Eagle Pride Never Dies"
  • A field trip will be taken to see the art work at the Scholastic Art Fair
  • Money is usually raised through the art calendar sales (There was not one for this year due to time contraints)
  • Art club is run by the students and they decide what they want to do which is usually doing different art projects each week.

Meetings:
Every Wednesday in the Art room
