German club is an opportunity for students to further their understanding of the German language and culture through participation in activities outside of class. it also gives students the opportunity to develop leadership skills.
Activities:
The club has only one fundraising activitity which is the sale of chocolate advent calendars, a German Christmas tradition. The profits from the calendars allow the club to sponsor the events listed below

Art club is for everyone. It's a place to socialize and be creative. We like to "improve" something around the school each year. For example, one year the wall outside the football field was painted by the Art Club. We encourage students to create original art and enter their work in contests.
Activities:
Pinatas were recently made and donated to the Arc
Art Club members are currently working on making a glass mosaic to hang up on the 200 and 400 staircase. The mosaic will say "Eagle Pride Never Dies"
A field trip will be taken to see the art work at the Scholastic Art Fair
Money is usually raised through the art calendar sales (There was not one for this year due to time contraints)
Art club is run by the students and they decide what they want to do which is usually doing different art projects each week.

Photography club is in it's beginning stages during it's first year. As most clubs, the club is run by the students. In general students usually like to have a fundraiser in order to get a budget for their club. Students usually do something for charity too. Otherwise it is a time to have some fun with photography, whether you are a novice or pro. Students are there to learn from each other and to have fun.

Science Olympiad is a collection of twenty three events from all areas of science and technology. Students in the program do anything from reading weather data off satelite images to identifying wildlife building gliders and robotic arms.

Scholar's bowl is a team academic competition of 5 players where questions are asked in the areas of social science, language arts, science, mathematics, fine arts, foreign language, and current events. They have teams competing at the varsity, JV, and novice levels. In the past 13 years, we have won three 5A state championshiops and have been runner-up 5 times.
