Season Recap:

This season was a season to remember the Eagles. The Eagles had high hopes and expectations coming into the season with 3 starting seniors returning. The Eagles were always leaning on the Seniors to fuel the offense and Logan Bullinger and Christian Smith did just that. Logan Bullinger left his mark this year as he led the offense in dunks, points per game, and rebounds per game. Logan had multiple dunks, 15 points per game, and 5 rebounds a game on average. Christian Smith was the next leading scorer and he always came ready to play. Smith averaged 13 points a game along with 3 assists.

The Eagles didn’t end the way they wanted to, but they can hold their heads high. How many teams can say they took Kapaun into 5 overtimes?! How many teams can say they played together as a team the whole year? The Senior Eagles made a huge impact on the way the season went. Next however, the Eagles will be loaded with Seniors and they will be prepared to win a state championship! Good season Eagles!

Sub-State Kapaun Recap:

After halftime however, the Crusaders played with intensity like none other. The Eagles battled till the very end. The Eagles were up by a point in the final seconds of the game till Kapaun nailed a buzzer beater to defeat the Eagles and seal the Sub-State Championship. The faced an upsetting loss as the final score was 56-55.
