Kapaun Recap:

This past Thursday, the Golden Eagles took on our catholic rivals, the Kapaun Crusaders. The Crusaders were coming into this double header undefeated in city league, the outcome was a different record. The Eagles started Jordan Miller and McCae Allen in the games with Bryce Fisher coming in for the relief for both games. The Eagle offense was led by Alex Miller and Mack Gowing with Alex Miller having a perfectly executed squeeze and 3 hits, one of those hits coming in the clutch in the 6th inning to give the Eagles the go ahead run. Mack had 2 RBI’s in the first game as well as a double to help fuel the offense. The Eagles won the first game 8-6. Allen led the way for defense as he dominated the start of the game. He struck out 7 of the first 10 batters he faced and ended the game with 9 strikeouts! The last inning Allen pitched was a tuff one as he hit a batter with two outs, this resulted in Bryce Fisher coming in for the relief and save. Fisher would hit the first batter and walk the second batter he faced, resulting in bases loaded and one out. The Crusaders attempted a bunt but Fisher got the out without giving up a run. He then struck out the next batter to complete the inning and get the save. The Eagles won the second game as well 3-2. Great job Eagles!

Maize South Preview

The Eagles are averaging about 12 points a game and have dominated every opponent faced so far. The Eagles are looking to extend their perfect season into this game and need our support to cheer them on to victory! Come to Maize South at 430 and 6 to see if the perfect season remain intact.
