Key Losses:
Tucker Chadd (WSU), Brandon Weber (Rockhurst), Thomas Woodard (Rockhurst), Aaron Jackson
Overall:
The Eagles will shoot for a third consecutive City League title this year. After a disappointing first round loss at state last year, our team is focused on improving. We return five 2nd Team All-State players, and an experienced roster. The Eagles will have to replace two effective starting pitchers that graduated, however with a strong defense returning our pitchers will be able to effectively pitch to contact. We return several starters that managed a team batting average of .441, the highest during Coach Ebright’s tenure. We will again compete for City, Regional and State Championships.
